I'm using it to power a car stereo in my workshop and it works great. It runs pretty hot, but not hot enough to be unsafe (unless maybe you buried it under a stack of paper). We haven't had any problems with anything we've hooked up to it, so no complaints there. Just be sure not to smash the cigarette lighter part in the door. For some bizarre reason it ceases to function after that... ;) ...more
