... I used to watch movies using my friends Sharp XR-40X - DLP projector and when I decided to buy my own, I went for Optoma HD20 based on the reviews on Internet. All I can say is what a difference from any other projector that I have seen. The image clarity is good, sharp and contrasty. ... I bought the HD20 to use as my main TV. I mounted it on the ceiling and our chairs are 14 feet back. I made a 80" diag screen out of smooth particle board and painted it with flat white paint, and a black boarder made out of milled 2x4's. I set it up in the basement, in a room the was designed as a home theater. I have a Dish-HD receiver. I'm very happy with the projector. They can be adjusted by loosening a screw, which when tightened will hold them securely. The brackets use serrations (detents) to lock them in, so they are not infinitely adjustable but still have many possible positions. Highs are very soft with no painful sharp sounds (herd this sound with Klipsch and Bose centers} I also had a CS10 for about a week this was also a nice center but sound is much smoother and more realistic with CS20. The flaps and everything are well thought out. The front is very nice as well. I was able to install everything, with plenty of room to spare. Cons -- The size. I was unable to fit this thing into my media center. I easily fit my receiver, other A/V equipment, but this case is just a behemoth.
