I baught 7 pair of these JA Audio bad boys in (black), these things are very small but can put out some serious highs and mids,paired with a 7.2 HD Yamaha recv. and two powered subs to round out my home theater, you could spend 1,000's more on a little bit better sounding speaker, but at around $500 for 7 pair you can't find anything better sounding then these speakers guaranteed!!! ...more

Any one who is looking for high quality at a great cost must buy JA Audio 2x2 cube speakers, My main front speakers are Bose cubes and the JA cubes are equal or in some cases better, the digital immaging and cleanleness of the sound is amazing,one pair can full a room with dynamic breath taking pure sound,they handle the highs and lows with out any difficulty, this is a must have for any audiophile. Only problem was the bracket system, No explanation on how to utilize the brackets. Also had a damaged part. Not a problem for me, since I did not hang the speakers. The old one (Onkyo TXDS484) is a great receiver and still worked fine so I decided to move it upstairs into the master bedroom, but I didn't have speakers to go with it. I'm not an audiophile and this was my "secondary" system so I wasn't looking for anything fancy. I just wanted to watch movies and listen to music. I had the rear speakers pre-wired, but my existing bookshelf speakers were just too big to mount. My hunt began for a small, low-priced, wall-mountable rear speaker for a 5.1 system.
